The company that makes these snaps closed at the end of December 2022. This was very sad news as I really like these snaps.
Those who already have the snapsetters may want to stock up as once I sell what I have, I will not be able to get any more.
I have updated the page with the quantities of each colour.

secure snap attachment? It's the SnapSetter!!!
These snaps feature long prongs which provide a better "grip" onto the fabric, allowing fasteners to remain securely in place, wash after wash.
You will be amazed at how easy it is to use these commercial-quality, no-sew fasteners.

What are the parts to the SnapSetter Tool?
The SnapSetter has a sturdy lightweight plastic design which protects the snap top and "snaps" fasteners into place with the aid of a household hammer.
The Size 16 SnapSetter offers the most versatile snap attaching possibilities.
The size 16, 18, 20 and 24 snaps all use the same size socket, stud and open prong ring underparts.
Therefore, to set a larger snap, all you need is the appropriately sized Snap Tool Adapter.
Simply use the SnapSetter top and middle positioning bar with the corresponding tool adapter to set the larger snap top.
It's just that simple. |

Snap Sizes
Size 14 snaps have a tight closing tension that is perfect for light weight fabrics such as single knits, batiste and cottons
Sizes 16 and up are designed for light or heavyweight fabrics which is perfect for polar fleece, denim or corduroy. The tighter closing tension keeps garments securely fastened. All of these sizes use the same size 16 underparts and have the same length prongs. |
Snap Descriptions
Open Prong Ring - An open circle of colour enabling the fabric to show through the snap when placed on cloth.
Capped Prong Ring - A solid circle of colour to give the look of a button when placed on cloth.
Pearl - A domed synthetic half-pearl rimmed with a ring used mostly in Western Wear.
Decorative - A snap with an embossed designer cap. |
How are the snaps packaged?
There are 10 snap sets in each package. There are 4 parts to each snap set::
- one fashion-coloured top (open, capped or pearl) socket, stud
- non -coloured open prong
