Madeira Silk Floss |
This is the best silk floss that I have ever used!
Absolutely flows through the fingers when hand stitching.
You can use it for any type of hand embroidery including smocking,
needlepoint, cross stitch, with silk ribbon, etc.
You will be glad you chose Madeira Silk.
The packaging is actually part of its charm, nick a small “V” along the bottom of the pack,
and the end of the thread magically appears.
It has been spiral wound in the container so it flows freely without tangling, so there’s no waste.
Beautiful colours to choose from, all in 5m spiral wound skeins.

Sewphie says: |
"Smocking and Embroidery with Silk Floss is a wonderful experience! Since silk floss has a little more volume than regular cotton floss, I recommend you use two strands of silk floss instead of the normal three. This produces a stitch most similar in size to your cotton floss. However, if you are working on heavier fabrics, such as wool or require a heavier texture, you may wish to use three strands of silk rather than four of cotton." |
